FRANKFURT (Reuters) – Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has informed a German newspaper that not less than 13,000 “terrorists” have been amongst Palestinians killed throughout Israel’s air and floor assault on Gaza.

Three quarters of Hamas battalions had been destroyed and halting the offensive now would solely permit them to regroup, Bild quoted Netanyahu as saying.

Bild made excerpts of the interview, which was collectively held with Politico and German broadcaster Welt TV, out there to Reuters on Sunday.
