In a significant organisational rejig forward of the Lok Sabha polls, the Congress on Saturday appointed Avinash Pande the final secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, changing Priyanka Gandhi Vadra whereas Sachin Pilot was made the final secretary in-charge of Chhattisgarh.
Priyanka Gandhi will now be a basic secretary “with none assigned portfolio”, in accordance with a press release issued by the celebration.
Pilot, together with GA Mir, Dipak Babaria, and Deepa Dasmunshi, was appointed as basic secretaries, whereas Tariq Anwar was dropped from the checklist.
Pande was earlier AICC in-charge of Jharkhand.

Manickam Tagore is the in-charge of Andhra Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar whereas Gurdeep Singh Sappal is the in-charge of administration.
“The celebration appreciates the contributions of outgoing basic secretary Shri Tariq Anwar and in-charges Shri Bhakta Charan Das, Shri Harish Chaudhary, Smt. Rajani Patil and Shri Manish Chatrath,” the assertion added.
MP Syed Naseer Hussain, who’s a member of the CWC, was made in-charge of Congress president’s workplace, and Pranav Jha will probably be AICC secretary connected to Congress president’s workplace communication.
